Scott M. Goldstein, M.D.
Scott Goldstein, M.D. has been in practice since 2003, serving patients of all ages in Bucks County. In 2015, we were excited that he added Bucks-Mont Eye Associates as one of his practicing locations. He has been a great addition to our family.
Dr. Goldstein has been happily married for over 20 years and has three fantastic children. In his spare time, he coaches and plays soccer and is an avid hockey fan. He is an active author in medical literature and frequently lectures regionally, nationally and internationally in the areas of Oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery. Scott M. Goldstein, M.D. is a Board Certified surgeon with specialized training in both ophthalmology and oculo-facial plastic surgery. He is a fellow of both the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Currently, he is an attending surgeon of the Wills Eye Hospital Oculoplastic Service with clinical faculty appointments at both the University of Pennsylvania and the Jefferson Medical College.
Dr. Goldstein earned his BS in Business from Cornell University in 1992 and his MD degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors in 1996. He then came to Philadelphia, completing a year of general medical training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was named Intern of the Year. That was followed by a three-year residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute where he was awarded the top resident teaching award for three consecutive years. He was chosen to serve as chief resident in his final year. In 2002, he completed a two year pediatric and adult ophthalmic plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery fellowship based at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Goldstein was then appointed Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania where he served as the director of medical education for the department of ophthalmology through 2003 and oversaw the Oculoplastic surgery division at the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital through 2004.
Dr. Goldstein has been an active teacher of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia since 2005. He has served as the president of the Ophthalmic Club of Philadelphia and was the founding President of Greater Philadelphia Ophthalmic Society. He is currently the President of the University of Pennsylvania Department of Ophthalmology Alumni association and the Medical Director of Tricounty Surgery Center.
